Cleaning ball return

I have a Valley 7 ft table and it seems that the Aramith balls we use(Centennials and basic Aramiths) get dirty really quickly after I use Aramith cleaner and finish restorer on them. I clean the cloth weekly. Could the issue be dirty ball return “gullies”? If so is cleaning them a possibility? Thanks

I got something like this from Home Depot. I spray it with Endust and feed it down each pocket. It catches a lot of chalk dust. The duster can easily be curved to make the fit easier.

The tool above could be def be good. I would also recommend a big industrial swiffer at home depot or lowes and run that all the way thru the gully return. You can put a shop vac on blow setting first and try to push things down from the pockets down thru the tracks to an area you can clean. Not sure of your valley has access doors but if so clean those areas where you have access. Clean the rails every week and I wash my hands everytime before I play. Oils from your hands can attract all sorts of stuff and that oil can build up over time in the tracks etc. I try to always keep my table covered when not in use. Anyway hope this helps that is one down side between drop pocket set up's is ease of keeping your balls clean.
