Cleaning Balls

that is why you are not supposed to put a polish wax on the balls. they change as it wears off, and of course you get addicted to the artificially easy to move around cueball
 
I talked to Diamond about cleaners and they don't recomment the Aramith ball cleaner as they says it's abrasive. They like the Meguier's Ultimate Detailer when used with their ball polisher machine.

When I first acquired my Diamond ball polisher I went with the Meguire's. After about a month of cleaning them every few days I started getting the most horrendous skids. You could hear a harsh crunching sound on contact and the cue ball would just die. I switched to the Aramith ball cleaner and haven't had any issues since. Lesson learned.
