Closest Certified Instructor!

I am looking for the closest certified instructor to New Orleans. I would like the guy/girl to be very proficient in Body Mechanics and Fundamentals.

The Reason I need this is because I spend a lot of table time and no matter what I can't seem to find my specific body alignment.

Thanks any constructive information would be appreciated.
 
If you can - record a video of yourself from the side shooting the spot shot. Take a striped ball, place it on the spot and shoot uptable - with a straight stroke the ball should hit your cue tip.

Then, record the same drill from the back so we could see the straightness of your stroke.

I believe that Gerald Huber, the author of "The Green Felt Jungle" is a certified pool instructor and he lives in Thibodaux, LA. That is probably as close as you can get with a certified pool instructor.

I hereby certify JoeyA as a bonafide... dyed in the wool... school of hard knocks.... pool instructor.. He has the Outsville Seal of Approval...

Go spend some time with him until Scott or someone is in your area.... Having another set of eyes on you speeds everything up especially if they are A) A good Player B) A real instructor C) Both.......

I did say he was bonafide :thumbup: Rumor has it you can pay him in Daiquiris but thats an old rumor... Heck he might even talk you into trying the Outsville Ki-Techs.. That is always my first lesson to a new player =)

Glad you are taking the leap and not just thinking going at it on your own is best...
