Closest thing to moori original?

I agree, have used them for years...every so often out of the box comes a crappy one, then cut it off and install a new one. Have just recently changed all my shafts to the Ultra Skin Ivory med and have the same playability, and doesn't seem to wear as fast...I chalk after every shot using masters blue.
As far as Moori's, every tip that people say is as "the hit is the same as the old Moori's" Once put on a cue owned by someone that used the old mooris, they don't like them after a few weeks. Now I tell people, you want the old Moori hit, then buy an old stock one and I'll install it, otherwise, I got nothing like them.

Great post. What I hear more than the old Moori question, is that they want something cheaper that plays just like a Kamui. I can only answer for them to get a Kamui.

I think still have a couple of old Moori's around here somewhere, but the truth is I never really cared for them. Guess I'm in the minority! I'm one of the few that really doesn't care what tip is on there as long as it holds chalk.
