Cloth color...

Worst cloth I've played on is in a bar....red cloth with a big "Jim Beam" design smack in the middle of it..

purple is the proper color for sure,,,,,,,,,,,,,lol,,,,,,,,just kidding. ive played on just about all colors except black and purple,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,GREEN,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, dont be influenced by a whim and pick a goofy color,,,,,,,,GREEN,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,oh, btw did i mention green was my choice

We done them in just about every color made..........An Orange cloth for a Gator Fan...............and Purple cloth for the best pound for pound boxer...Roy Jones!
And for worst cloth I even played on was a dive game room that had nice weekly tournaments. RED! Cloth! RED! Chalk!.......and RED STAINS ON YOUR SHAFT after just 2 times! It seemed like my game dropped 4 balls when I walked in the door!

green is the most natural color to your eyes. The only colors i would suggest would be:

Green
Light "TV" Blue
Camel

He made his mind up about 5 posts back on the 20th! Green won out...as it should. All us old farts know that cloth is GREEN. That's just the way god meant it to be.

Definitely green (IMO).

My nephew, who lives in Yuma, told me about a pool room he frequented in Arizona that was called "Pinkies," and every pool table in the room had pink cloth. He went to college in Scottsdale, and I can't remember whether the pool room was located in Yuma or Scottsdale.

Imagine the blue chalk stains on the felt!

Wow, a pool hall named Pinkies...
We have a place nearby called "Miss Ques".
Sound inviting?

Man just stick with Green. At college my manager tested one table by putting a blue bed with purple rails. I almost shot her when I came back from the weekend. LOL. Can you imagine defacing an antique 50's Brunswick Centennial with that. Gives me nightmares.

Put whatever color in your house you want...but if you are going to be practicing for tourneys or leagues then get whatever color the tourneys use...namely green. One bar around here got red cloth and red chalk... tried to tell us we couldn't use blue chalk for our league match (which we all said 'screw you' to). All of their shafts are colored red...and that's not getting on my cue!
