Is there an easy fix? I know that this guy who owned a room in Peabody would use some glue on thes spots. Any ideas guys (it's for my clubs table)???

IMO glue is the way to go.... but just a dab. I have used Gorilla Glue before.
Don't mix the glue with water. Use a toothpick to dab on the exposed fibers.

And thanks...

Pete.... I'm not a mechanic, but have used glue to keep the cloth from fraying.
A stitch in time saves 9. Wood glue (brown color) Stays tacky for an hour or 2.

Just put a drop of glue on the end of a toothpick. No water. Luck to you... Carl
