It depends a lot what you will do to keep it good. If you have a good quality balls and keep them polished and maybe use Taom chalk on your table you will have burn marks a lot less also. Probably can double the life of cloth then.Hey just wondering what frequency others on here do a cloth replacement on their home tables that get use. I know you can go for years but ball marks are pretty fugly.
. 8 years you have done very well, yeah breaking and jumping really cuts the life span.I got 8 years out of my Simonis 760,
Lots of pock marks, but no cuts or tears or wear through.
{{I should mention that I rarely break, just rolls the balls onto the table and start shooting.}}
I am also a very recent convert to Taom. Really loving how clean it is. Playing at the pool hall, I'll use masters all day. But at home, only Taom for anyone playing on my home table, period. Curious...how are you liking the Simonis Grey? I've used 860 HR in the usual tourney blue, but the grey has captured my interest.I purchased my Diamond and the Derby in 2020. I shimmed the pockets to a nice probably 3 15/16 and have only used TAOM Chalk. Switched out the cloth to Simonis 860 HR Grey. At first my Masters buddies did not like the idea but since I had bought 9 cubes and they had no out of pocket expense and provided they were cool. I have multiple sets of balls, diamond ball polisher, have a dehumidifier and take time to maintain playing surface. The cloth has slowed maybe a touch. Been doing this for several years and ran a pool hall in my youth. I feel 3-5 years in easily achievable depending upon personal choice
Actually gotten adapted to it. Smaller Pockets too. Just love the gameI am also a very recent convert to Taom. Really loving how clean it is. Playing at the pool hall, I'll use masters all day.
