Cloth Selection and Rail Inspection

I am almost ready to start reassembling a 1916 Brunswick Kling 9’ after fully restoring the wood laminates, inlays, etc. I have a couple of questions:
1) The table has the K55 Superspeed cushions. The table was played on upto about 10 years ago and was in decent shape. How can i tell if the cushions need replacing? They appear to be perfect.
2) What felt to use on this table? Having trouble finding the Simonis cloth (camel color). But anyhow a fabric suggestion for this table / rail combo?

As far as I am aware Monarch Superspeeds are not a K55 profile, they are their own unique profile which is no longer available. Early Gold Crowns came equipped with Monarch Superspeeds (as did many Brunswick tables of that and earlier eras) and need to have the rails recalibrated for currently available cushions if owners want their tables to play correctly.

Nope, the Monarch cushions are the same triangle profile as the newer K55 Superspeed cushions available today, difference is measured across the top they're 1 1/8" vs today's K55 measurements of 1 1/4". The 1 1/8' measurement does NOT make them a K66 profile cushion as everyone seems to think, because put end to end, they do NOT share the same nose height, the K66 cushions sit an 1/8" higher, meaning their triangle profiles are in fact, different!!!

If the cushions are not hard, or spongy soft, don't replace them, no need to, unless tightening the pockets is going to happen.

If the monarch cushions have the same triangle configuration as the newer k55 cushions, but are an 1/8" shorter across the top, it would figure that either one of the other sides of the triangle has to be shorter or one of the angles has to be different, no?

It's the same triangular design as the newer K55 Superspeeds, only smaller in proportion.
