Masse vs 3c shaft-differences/similarities?

Are they similar in weight, taper, length, tip size & selection? Would a masse cue have a butt similar to a jump handle or a fullsized handle? Masse butt heavier? Over all weight of the masse set up?

And would BEM shafts be adviseable for either or both masse and 3c shaft applications?

Nothing in common except, maybe, the tip size. Billiard cues usually 55-57 inch, masse 40-50. Billiard shaft very stiff, masse much more stiffer. Billiard cue 18-21oz., masse 23-30oz..
