Cocobolo Paul Sumrall S&S in progress

Here is my Paul Sumrall S&S cue in progress. Cocobolo into a nice piece of curly. It will have ivory veneer stitched rings as well as most likely a black or brown leather wrap. Which color do you think would look better? Thanks Paul for sending the pictures; it is always nice to see the cue in progress. Enjoy the pics :thumbup:.

Why put a wrap ? It looks like a full splice . ????

One more picture of the finished blank. Someone mentioned to keep it wrapless, but I like the feel of a wrap better so we are putting on a nice black lizard wrap! More pictures to come :thumbup:.

I understand your viewpoint, but I am not overly concerned about it. I will be able to see enough coco in the butt sleeve and points to keep me contempt. I think when it's all said and done with the black wrap it will look elegant, and more importantly knock on wood play really well. A couple more pics attached...the wrap groove has not been cut yet.
