I have for a sale a cue built by Joe Gold of Cognoscenti Cues. This cue has been my personal playing cue for the last 9 years. Hate to sell it but as we all know it times are a little tougher. Divorced dad here. The cue is a Bacote cue with Joe's standard silver stitch rings in it. On this cue you will see his original G10 glass expoxy pin which is white. His newer cues have the black G10 I believe. Cue comes with 3 shafts. 2 are original, and the 3rd is one that was built by the Southwest shop and only has a black ring on it. This shaft is a half inch longer as well, and includes a very stiff taper to it. All 3 shafts have Moori medium tips on them. The wrap is irish linen and very smooth feeling. Cue shows signs of play but overall well taken care of and plays great like most Cogs do. I weighed the shafts and the weights are as follows: 3.6 oz, 3.6 oz, and 4.1 oz for the 3rd shaft(Southwest). Butt weighed in at 15.8 oz. I'm asking $1,100 or best offer on this cue. I live just outside of Seattle, WA. If someone is interested in buying this cue I'm sure we could arrange an easy way to get it to you. In case you're worried about the funds and want to verify what type of guy I am I can get you some references here in the Seattle area. One of them being Dan Louie who knows me personally. I will try and attach photos here with this post. Will also email them directly to anyone who's interested in the cue. You can reach me through here or call me on my cell at 206-355-2572. Thanks Sean .

Bacote Cog

I have a bacote Cog from that vintage and it is a terrific cue.
Good luck with your sale.

Pictures..

Ok I need some help getting the pictures up on here I guess. For those that have put their emails up, or pm'd me I will be sending photos of the cue for review. It's still available for sale. Thank you.

Posting Photos

Hey Sean:

It's fairly easy to post photos. I've included the instructions below.

In the mean time please email me photos.

Will PM my email.

Thanks,
Mark

How do I attach a file to a post?

To attach a file to your post, you need to be using the main 'New Post' or 'New Thread' page and not 'Quick Reply'. To use the main 'New Post' page, click the 'Post Reply' button in the relevant thread.

On this page, below the message box, you will find a button labelled 'Manage Attachments'. Clicking this button will open a new window for uploading attachments. You can upload an attachment either from your computer or from another URL by using the appropriate box on this page. Alternatively you can click the Attachment Icon to open this page.

To upload a file from your computer, click the 'Browse' button and locate the file. To upload a file from another URL, enter the full URL for the file in the second box on this page. Once you have completed one of the boxes, click 'Upload'.

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window. You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

What files types can I use? How large can attachments be?

In the attachment window you will find a list of the allowed file types and their maximum sizes. Files that are larger than these sizes will be rejected. There may also be an overall quota limit to the number of attachments you can post to the board.

How do I add an image to a post?

If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed.

To include an image that is not uploaded as an attachment and is located on another website, you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either pressing the 'Insert Image' icon or by typing
after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image. You can insert pictures from your albums (?) in this way too.

Thank you everyone who has PM'd & called.

Right now it appears the Cog is sold to a gentleman in NY. We are working out the PayPal stuff and I would say the cue is sold as of now. Will keep folks posted and a few have received photos & some are still waiting. Stand by. Thank you.

Anyone interested

Realized after deep inspection of the cue a warped shaft, a slightly warped shaft, a cracked ferrule...a lot of players damage not revealed in many phone conversations and texts before the transaction....

AND I LOST AGAINST PAYPAL even with a Credit Card...buyers beware in 2011

This is the 2nd go around for this cue and still no pictures have been posted on this forum. I'm assuming the first seller you bought it from sent pictures unless I'm mistaken and you purchased it sight unseen.

In any event, some photos would be cool. Thanks.
