My friend just sold me a coin operated pool table and was wondering if there was a way to disable to coin part to keep from having to use coins every time I want to play at my house or to switch the number of coins or the type of coins that is needed to get the balls released.

Yes, the coin mechanism can be taken apart and should have "slugs" stored in it. Install those slugs and the mechanism will work without coins. It works the same, but you're just converting it to a free play table.

Just take out the ball tray so the balls run straight to the end. Usually its held in by a small bolt on each end of the tray.
