color of money

It was the room in the movie where Eddie got loaded and lost his a$$ to Amos...the famous "do you think I need to lose some weight" line.

I've always thought it would have been interesting to watch Vincent hustle Amos the next day on the same table getting Eddies' money back as a sequence in the movie of the "student graduating from the teacher" and then hitting the road on the way to Atlantic City.

FWIW.....I've heard the TK6 story, but it's never been confirmed by anyone associated with the film. It is said that the car belonged to Tom Karabatsos, a Chicago-area guy. This tidbit of info would be a great addition AMC's airing when they flash trivia tidbits throughout the movie.

A buddy of mine has brought me several bottles of JTS Brown when he goes "home" to Ohio. He's usually in the Dayton area, so I'm assuming that's where he finds it. One thing we discovered over time is a difference in the labeling of the bottles. One bottle says "bottled in bond" or something similar, whereas the other doesn't. Anyone know anything about this notation?

.

"Bonded whiskey is not blended. It has been stored continuously for at least four years in wooden barrels and which is bottled at 100 proof ; it must all be the product of a single distillery, by the same distiller, during a single season and year. It is then entitled to be labeled as “bottled in bond” and sealed with the U.S. government’s green strip stamp."

Stole that off a website on whiskey

and JTS Brown is nasty bourbon imho....give me some Makers Mark, Knob Creek, or Basil Haydens anyday...JTS isn't even as good as ole grandad, or wild turkey

JTS Brown I had at least heard of. Anyone know anything about "White Tavern"?
