Colorado State Championship 8,9,10 Ball

Colorado state championship 8,9,10 ball at Felt Bar in Englewood (Denver) starts July 17 at 7:00. Supposed to be on all new 7' diamond tables that were delivered the 16th. Should be fun with some heavy hitters in the ranks. Any guesses on who takes the titles? Marc Vidal should be tough to beat. Adam King is shooting really well right now as well....

Not yet. Soon as I see one I'll try to post it. I'll try to get pictures of the brackets as well. It should be all the usual Colorado players. Marc Vidal, Mark Haddad, ATM, Kiko Ibarra, Adam King, Jose Cruz....

I'm surprised they aren't on the list either. I can't imagine they won't play, at least ATM and Haddad. Piazza seems like he skips tournaments here and there. I think the field is limited to 64 so they still may get in there.
 
To bad we don't have a active streamer around the area. I can't make down the hill but I know many on the list and this would be nice to watch.
 
Someone could not have gotten a room with 9 footers for a state championship? 7 footers are for leagues and CSI events :wink:

Pretty soon we'll have leagues playing on 5 footers with 6" pockets and the pro events will be on 7 footers with 5" pockets.

Felt has 6 Diamond and 5 GC 9 footers. They could have done it on 9 footers.
 
I'm amazed they couldn't get 64 players for this. It is Colorado's state championship after all. Additionally, it's also one of the few non-handicapped tourneys in the state. I'm assuming a few more will sign up last minute, but the announcement for this was made 2 or 3 months ago. Felt is really a decent room. One of their drawbacks was that their bar boxes were valleys, but now that they changed to diamonds it will be the best room in Denver (Or top 2).

I was also surprised to see no ATM and Haddad on the list, but it wouldn't surprise me if they sign up last minute.

Many of us are using these tournaments as a warm up for BCA next week. Plus, I think we will get more participation on bar tables.

As a side note, I'm happy Felt has the Diamond bar tables, I'll play there more now. Most of the rooms in Denver have switched over thankfully.
