Coloring my Balance Rite Mid Extension

So I got my Balance Rite extension for my Robert Harris and I love. It's now 62.5" and it's perfect for my favorite game 14.1. Problem is the rings don't match now and I would like it to be solid black. What's the best way? Spray paint? Or would it be best to go to a cuemaker?
