Come one come all. A new tour is starting up in Youngstown Ohio on July 23rd to the 25th. It is called the "COME AND TAKE IT IF YOU THINK YOU CAN". This is the 1st annual $1,000.00 added, 24 hour action on 9 foot diamonds, calcutta, break contests and nothing but having fun. It will be held at Ice Breakers at 5516 Webb Rd. in Youngstown, 330-518-3708 (ask for Mike). It is sponsored by Mike Gulyassy Custom Cues & Ice breakers. It is a RACE TO 5 WINNERS SIDE AND 3 ON THE LOSERS. TOURING PROS GIVE UP 2 GAMES ON THE WIRE ON THE WINNER SIDE AND 2 ON THE LOSERS. A PLAYERS LIKE MYSELF GIVE UP 1 GAME ON THE WIRE AND 1 GAME ON THE LOSERS SIDE. Rack your own, winner breaks. Ranking decided by tournament director. Anyone that knocks me out of the losers side gets a Mike Gulyassy custom cue. This 1st annual tournament will be held on diamond bar tables and there will be exhibitions by Earl Strickland and he will be offering lessons the entire weekend. Ice Breakers has great food and the Econo Lodge will be offering $59 and $69 rates (330-270-2865). Entry is $30.00, Calcutta at 8:00 PM, also an outside beach patio with liquor and entertainment. Cue repair and sales by Mike Gulyassy.

so touring pro players have to give up 2 games in a race to 3 bar table 9ball

Hi Mike,

Just wondering about a couple of things:

1. Will the tables be open for the tournament?
2. Is it 10-Ball?
3. Does it start Friday night or Saturday morning?
4. How many people are signed up already?
5. Is there a maximum number of players (Are you cutting off at 64?)

I live 40 minutes away and believe it or not I just asked my wife if I could go and I'll be danged..........she's saying YES!! Holy Shirt!!!

Your last post was about 2 weeks ago and I'm wondering if you have any updated details.

Ya its still going on. I live 10 minutes away from Ice Breakers the pool hall thats holding the tournament. 5560 W Webb Rd, Youngstown, OH 44515
(330) 544-1112 number for pool hall. Tournament is going to be 9 ball race to 5 in winners and 3 in losers. Texas express rules. I think they are starting the calcutta on friday night around 6

4th......Ben Zimmer
