I would love to see Monica to get over this "hump" and win an event. I've always felt she was long overdue. Hopefully, whatever it is that has held her back in the future, is gone and she can break thru.

I'd love to start a "Congrat's" thread tomorrow Monica - go get um, it's your time!!!!

YYYYAAAAAAYYY Monica!!!!!!

It would be nice to see her finally snap an event off, she seems like a very cool person. It's hard to believe she's been on TV and in the finals so many times w/o winning one. Johnnyt

Very cool in person, just one of the gals. No ego baggage, C'mon, snap it!!

Monica has the game and the belief to win, She just has to get a couple of breaks at the right time and play her game, the first win is always the hardest.
She can do it today.

A lot of history to be made today.

Did you realize?

1) no American-born lady has won a WPBA event since Jeanette Lee won at 2004 WPBA Florida
2) no American-born lady that joined the WPBA tour subsequent to 1993 has won a WPBA event

Well, history may be rewritten today, as an American-born lady will play in the final. I'll root for Monica today, the only remaining undefeated player in the event.

Monica

I like her game, and I am all for her too (Always liked her haircut).

Who are the list of possibles for her opponent?

Has she ever made a final? I know she made quite a few semis, but has she gone beyond that?

Adding to this, another piece of history would be written if Kelly Fisher were to win today. No player other than Allison Fisher or Karen Corr has won more than one WPBA rankings event in a single WPBA season since 1999.

Wow! Americans need to step it up a bit. Hope she wins...
