It is my lovely other half's 40th next year and she has expressed a desire to head to the good ole USA for a few weeks.
I anticipate three weeks in and around May 31st next year (her birthday).
During that trip, she is intending to stop for a few days with a friend in Illinois and has said to me
"of course you can dash off to a pool tournament for a few days while I am visiting blah blah"
So the question I need help with...
If you were in my position and in the states for a few weeks in and around the end of May next year - which is the "must not miss" pool tournament/festival I should be heading for?
As a spectator and participant.
It doesn't necessarily have to be in or around Illinois..
I'm an E8B player really but willing to throw my arm at anything and being a brit naturally have a superior cue action anyway

I mention the above re "speed" as you guys call it..
