I just got this today. As I don't want to bias the comments, I won't be giving the maker's name or showing his logo. I just want to see what people think of this 8 pointer. Chris

Thank you. The butt sleve and long points are amboyna burl. The rings also have amboyna in them. As for a sale, I'm not sure at this time. If I decide to sell it, I'll be sure to shoot you a PM.

thats a very brown amboyna, maybe its the light or the way the camera is.
i have seen thuya burl that has no eyes and just a swirly figure used in a few cues so that was my first guess.
once again nice looking cue, and who made it?

I'm just going by what the maker said it was. When it comes to exotic woods, I haven't much of a clue =) As far as the maker, I guess enough people have seen this to say it now. Believe it or not, this cue was made by a guy that goes under the name of Joel Dadivas in the Phillipines. I figured I would take a chance as the price was low enough. I'll have to see how straight the cue is in 6 months. But, the points, veneers, and inlays are all amazingly clean.

One more word...SWEET!
:p

Thanks =) As beautiful as the wood and workmanship is, I'll be much happier when it's been a few months and it's still straight lol If it is, I might have to hunt down another from the same cue maker.. if I can find him again.

vhante cue right ?

Oddly enough, no. From what I've heard, Vhante is a pretty decent brand. This is a Joel Dadivas Custom Cue. For whatever that is worth =) One other thing that I forgot to mention, the leather wrap on this cue was applied so well that I had to use a magnifying glass to tell where the seam was. Everything about the cue looks perfect.
