I also use the Zero-X Kicking system to play 2 and 3 rail safeties with ease as well. If you know the Zero-X systems then use them to your advantage. Other than that, the above link will help you immensely.

That link is very good. I am a pretty good safety player, but my team struggled when it came to safeties. They did not know when to play them. They could not see them. They could not execute them. I printed out everything from that link and just from that they have become much better over the last year. I will say that it does take practice though.
