Complete cue building lathe setup

I'm selling my lathe setup along with all tools and what supplies I have. It's going to be sold in person because it's too big to ship. I can deliver to any Joss Nothereast 9 ball stop, including Turning Stone held in Verona NY 1/5-1/8/17. I can deliver 4 hrs from my home, or meet buyer half way.

I will sell it for $2500, which is a very good deal since the tools and supplies includes are in excess $1500 alone. A small deposit will hold this until we arrange pickup.

The lathe is a Proper Model A that I modified to be a cue building lathe with full Taig bed, taper bar and tapering setup. The Taig bed is full length, mounted on U channel and 1.5" wide 8020 aluminum stock which makes the bed rock solid. The lathe comes with a 36" long rear bed extension with a 4 jaw rear chuck and circular bearing steady rest with several collets. This allows you to work on full length house cues and perform all work when building your own cues. I mounted a 1.5" wide 8020 aluminum bar behind the lathe bed with an adjustable butt taper bar underneath. I also have a 0.5 x 1.0 x 36 inche derlin shaft taper bar with allen bolts and nuts to mount in the 8020 channel.

It has the same taper setup as a Hightower Cuesmith Deluxe with a pinion drive powerfeed with dial select variable speed control. Comes with a Porter Cable Laminate router, dust collection box with 3 sets of plexiglass faces with different size openings. Just hook your vacum line to it and suspend the line above the lathe so it can travel the length of the bed. Comes with a 6 wing smooth cut router bit, point cutting 45 degree bit and a standard flat router bit. It tapers very accurately.

The tailstock has 0.75" collet that holds 60 degree live center, concave live center for spinning shafts and 0.75" capacity heavy duty hand chuck for drilling out stock. The tailstock can be moved up and down bed and is held in place with quick release knobs. It is a very sturdy tailstock, very versitile.

Comes with a high quality quick change toolpost with tip shaping platform to trip tips with razor blade, 2 bit holders, 1 boring bar holder with long boring bar, cutoff blade holder with carbide cutoff blade. I will include several extra lathe bits plus two 3/8" wide right hand carbide insert bits.
Here's what else it comes with.

Dial indicator and magnetic stand
Full range of shaft/ferrule collets, several sized butt and joint collets. Plus 4 blank 1.5" sections of Derlin to make your own butt collets.

It's definitely not Forney. I know OP personally, he got banned for being a dick on other posts. He joined to sell some equipment.

If I need to go take pictures and list it myself, I will, but this is a screaming deal. He just wants out of his stuff because he doesn't have time to use it. If I had an extra 2k kicking around, I probably would have bought this before it went up.

Where is the location of this set up? And when I click on his user name, there is no option to message him....

I have no interest in debating who it is,but once again that is a pretty tricked out repair lathe. Tommy D.
