I couldn't find the current standings for the IPT after the Reno event, so I decided to do it myself. The good news is we have 20 pro pool players who have made 50 thousand dollars already! If anyone finds any errors, please let me know and I'll edit this post. BTW, this list is exhaustive and complete, so there may be some qualifiers who didn't pay the full amount so that their points won't count at the end of the year. Nevertheless, every player is included. Enjoy stat lovers! Oh and leave me some good rep. I deserve it right?;)

Now that some pros have made a goodly sum of money, I hope they are smart enough not to piss it away gambling, etc....Who knows how long this gravy train may be running? Not wanting to be negative, but we all know there are no real guarantees when it comes to pool money, and very few good things last for very long.......................

I'm sure they will all make prudent investments in diversified portfolios! :D

When I left Reno, I thought to myself that it's a good thing that the players didn't get their payoffs in cash at the tournament. Imagine how quickly they could have gotten rid of their winnngs right there at the Grand Sierra Casino!

That's a good point......I would've thought that the Hotel/Casino might have ensured that the players got paid immediately after the tournament (as part of the deal with the IPT) for that very reason.......after all, isn't that a big part of why gambling casinos like to hold these tournaments? Not sure if it's true, but I heard once that Strickland lost his entire 1st prize ($10K) after winning the Sands Reno Open, by playing blackjack and drinking all night.....

I guess KT was doing the players a favor by making sure everyone got out of Nevada without blowing it on slot machines.:rolleyes: :D
