Complete player stats combined from all 3 rounds

Well, the top 6 GLI leaders are the ones going to the semi finals, which means the top players are not only winning, but winning by a large margin.

They also have the best winning % but that's expected.

Also this shows those who have the best break are clearly going to dominate, the top 10 players had 8 of the 12 8ball on the break wins.

I was waiting for that....thanks again. I'm gonna show this to KT after the event and recommend these and more stats are collected and tabulated.

Anyway, for reader convenience here are some other stats from day3

Day 3 Break & Runout Summary
Group 1: 57 from 180 frames = 31.7% (21 came from Marlon alone)
Group 2: 47 from 188 frames = 25.0% (16 from Mika, 14 Efren)
Group 3: 29 from 161 frames = 18.0% (10 Busta, 7 Archer)
Overall: 133 from 529 frames = 25.1%

Take Marlon, Mika and Efren out of the stats and for the other 15 players we would have 82 B&R's for 415 frames = 19.8%

Of the remaining six, Nick and Efren have the lowest number of break & runs and will have their hands full against their younger and stronger opponents.

If Manalo goes all the way, this will really be the year of the young Turks: WU CC with the world 9ball, ALEX P with the US Open 9ball and now MARLON with the IPT. All these guys are below 30.

On the other hand, if either Efren or Nick goes through, it will be a BIG one for the "young once". If Efren wins it all, he would have salvaged a year which already showed more than a leaf or two of his autumn. Go Efren!

Only because Varner and Reyes' stats were from only one round of play. The other four Final Round players have stats from 3 rounds of play.

Colin, If they collect the number of times a player breaks, the break and run stats will be more accurate then using the wins, also ask about balls made on the break, If they don't already, that would be a great stat to collect, I wonder how many times Manalo made balls on the break, 60%? 70%? with that stat you could find out how often a player runs out when making a ball on the break.

Ok, ur hired! Is 80k a year enough?
If guys are gonna record if they made a legal break, might as well record:
1. How many balls were potted off the break?
2. Did it scratch?
3. Did it go off table?
4. Did the 8-ball go in?

Also potentially record no. of innings for each player which would provide data so that we know how often the receiver runs out after an open break.

This would be too much for the players who currently record their own stats.

I think we should have refs up in chairs, like in tennis, recording all the stats and overseeing the game. Stepping down when needed, such as to check Earl's flowers for incendiary devices.
