The cue making equipment has been sold lock, stock, and barrel.

Thanks everyone for all the support and help you all have offered me over the years.
I am going to regret selling my equipment and being away from cue making.
I will miss all my friends here.

this is a real deal

I've been to his shop and this is perfect for someone wanting to go full time. All the equipment and material needed is here.

Willie, hows the fishing now?

The wind from the fronts is making life hard for catching fish ... Spring run isn't too far away !!!!!:wink::rolleyes::boring2:

Redfish are coming into season aren't they? So much fun to eat and catch. (But not necessarily in that order :) )

I was also at his shop

And can attest that he takes meticulous care of all his equipment and tooling. That seems like a lot of money until you break it down, and then it is an absolute steal ! I am sure if the buyer allocates a few days to get trained, Willee can take him step by step through the process. If one were starting out, say after having retired from their full time job, this would be the opportunity of a lifetime! There is way more little goodies to this deal than Willee tells, he is too modest.

SOLD SOLD SOLD ... Willee makes cues no more ...:sorry::(:confused:The guy got a hell of a deal and a lot of stuff . I helped load it all !!!!!!

What's a turnkey shop ?
Owner takes over the shop ? Willee hands him the keys ?

Hi Joey,

I sounds as though you're not familiar with the phrase "turn-key".
Your guess is pretty damn close though as it can apply to any type of operation, machine, car, etc.
It basically means that it's 'good-to-go'. Turn the key and run it.
No parts missing, everything included. Just turn the key & go.
Very much an American slang term.

There's another form of the term that maybe some would know but only if they've been in jail.
Let's hope you never have reason to use it in that context.

Take Care Buddy. The times are a changin'.

That I did not know.
Good luck to the new owner.

The new owner of the equipment from my shop (Willeecue) post about it if he chooses to do so. He is a member here.

Otherwise the purchaser will remain nameless.

Equipment

Hello everyone, not that it matters but I am the one that bought Willee turn key operation, and I will have to admit to you all, that was what it was, I can make cues for ever I think and not run out of wood. ha ha. It was a great deal, I can’t believe it took so long for him to sell it. Willee was a great host, and I only spent a couple days with him, and it seems I have known him for ever, Eric was the same type of person, just great people, and thanks Eric for all your help, and I hope to meet you again. And Willee, I look forward to your stopping by later on this year, It will be a pleasure to work with you again, and the knowledge you have with this equipment. All of you that wanted to get into the business, missed a heck of a deal. I truly believe I can made cues for several years without buying anything. Thanks Willee…. see ya soon. And Eric thanks again.

You most certainly did good on that Jimbob.... I am definitely envious of you. If I were to guess, I would say you got that stuff at or around half price.

Well, i have purchased quite a lot things over the years, and if you could see all the extra things that goes with the equipment you would change your mind. Everything he bought he bought extra things that didn't come with it. I would estimate i got it for a third of the cost.

I agree that you got a hell of a deal..Timing was bad for me. Lack of space. I even looked at renting a storage unit to store the equipment until I had the room. Congrats on a great buy and good luck with the addiction.

Your welcome , anytime Jim Bob .... You did get a hell of a deal except you had to unload all that stuff . You should do alright now ...;)
