hey Bobby Cotton-you have a good point, but to sell to the masses you have to speak the masses language.
You are my friend and I just want to see you do good on this as much as you do.
Me and Bobby go back to the Hollywood Althetic Club or HAC days-it was a great pool room on Sunset Bl. we didnt talk much then just a few times. He shows up in Vegas over a year ago and a mutial friend brings Good ol' Bobby by to play pool-we havent stopped. I have listened to Bobbys tails of the road he was on for 30 years, It beyond a privlage to be in that spot, its litterly like going to the movies everyday and he has told me some of them more than once. I have a sharp memory and Bobby is awalys consistant with what happened-everything is true.
When ever some one else is here(long time players) Bobby asks them where you from? When they anseere he knows players names from that area a list all of the time. For example Mike Fieldhammer was here with Samm Diep, Bobby asks Mike "Where ya from?" Mike says "Minnapapolis". Bobby and mike started talking about players from when Mike was just a kid, Same when RKC Glenn was here and they started talking about Washington. Honest to Godness it amazes me, never once has a "Player" came through my house that Bobby dosnet know someone mutial to the player comming through. I just sit and listen.
I have been so lucky, this past year and change. Yesterday for example we had a partners game with Terry the cop(Mike Surbers best friend), Cotton, Me and SVB. We came out even. Even the mighty SVB missed a couple balls cause partners one pocket movess so slow its hard to keep the rythem going. I missed 3 balls that were within inches of the hole, one was in the hole and I missed the entire ball, Shane was standing over the pocket to hand it back to be spotted-he looked up at me and turned red and started laughing at me:sorry: I was so embarassed, however I did make a few good shots as well. It was fun,

Oh Yeah, I want to thank Fatboy for starting the poll about my book title and all of the az'rs that responded. I have not finalized a title yet of course, I want to find the best title cause the book has a hundred great stories. I'd hate for a bad title to keep it from getting read by everyone who loves pool like i do. If you like action ya gotta read it. Some are funny and some are scary. It's about pool back in the day as i experienced it. Thats when all pool players were trappers. HAHAHAHA
