I haven't been on in a while but I thought I would put this out here for a good friend.

He purchased a table from Diamond Billiards ( Gabriel Bar Box ) and the diamonds are in the wrong spots on the long rails. Initially there was no problem, the next time thru Texas they brought new rails and exchanged them, but they had the same problem. When my friend Paul talked to Paul at Diamond the only answer he got was " I don't know what we can do at this point".

I know the guys at Diamond and Paul and Greg are stand up guys and usually handle business better than this. I know there are a few people on here that deal with them alot and either work for them or contract to them. Maybe you can shed a little light on this.

Paul ( my friend ) even offered to pay the extra 1000.00 to have the table replaced with a Diamond Bar Box to coorect the issue with no response.

WOW !!! Not one response, I've had Diamoond Billiards back for a long time as have many of you, and not one person including those that have been to Pauls (those that set this table up )house to see the problem have any suggestions.

I do not visit AZ Billiards very often so I did not see this post. We shipped a used Gabriels table to Paul. When the table arrived Paul noticed that the Diamonds were in the wrong place. We had one spare set of rails for a 7' Gabriels. We sent that to Texas and it was also wrong. We then contacted Gabriels about this issue to get a replacement top. That was about 3 weeks ago. We still have not received a response from Gabriels. We do not have any additional parts.

To my recollection I never received a counter offer to get a Diamond 7 Foot Table for an additional $1,000. We would consider this option as we are receiving no response from Gabriels.

This is one of the problems when buying a pool table built overseas...its hard to contact the mfg'er if there's ever a problem;)

Yep Glen, a lesson I learned the hard way. I buy all my pool items inside the lower 48 or I don't buy.... Too much trouble to deal with other countries where there is little or no way I can control or resolve the problems... JMO!
