Congrats to Denis Orcollo on winning the Carom Café 10-ball on the BB. Jay must have taken him to a room that has 7' tables to practice, because there aren't any in his country. More players need to practice on the BB because that's where the money is going to be here in the states. Johnnyt

Dennis played fantastic all weekend he had the break shot down pat

Dennis got 1st in main event $8,000 and Calcutta was $24,000 (not sure how much Calcutta money he got but prolly got a good jelly at least)
and he got 2nd in mini tourny that was $2800 so nice payday for Dennis

I heard that Johnny Archer went for a mere $1500 or so, while others went for quite a few thousand dollars. The gray-beards strike again.

One other thing, from the very beginning, every time I watched Orcullo break, it seemed that his cue ball rebounded straight back, seldom going toward the side rails and it never stayed up close to the rack that I could see. I remember one break where the cue ball went toward the side rail but I'm sure there were more. I was watching the live-stream match from Buffalo Billiards in Metairie, LA most of the time, although I did watch some from home.

In fact, I dare say that in this bar box 10 ball event, Dennis's ten ball break rivaled and perhaps surpassed Shane's break on the bar box. (Now Shane will be practicing 12 hours a day on his bar-box break). That guy knows what it takes. I'm still a SVB fan.
