Watched the stream from the US Amateur in Florida most of the day yesterday. In the finals, Ken defeated Jeff Abernathy 11 - 10 to win this year's championship. Great play from both those two and the other 126 entrants. Appeared to be a very well run event. Live stream was great HD and Free from Inside Pool. Way to go Ken!

I have never seen anyone love pool more then Kenny, he is really focused. Congrats to a champion, thanks for the stream. Tom
 
Yep! Ken has a lot of passion for the game of pool. This was the last big accomplishment he wanted for his individual APA career (and probably the toughest). I hope he wins a couple more US amatures (unless I'm playing);). Can't wait to see him Thursday so I can buy him a congratulatory beverage. I used to want the last three and the breaks from him. But now he's a national champ, gonna need more weight.
 
Congrats, Kenny.

No doubt that Kenny has a passion for playing pool that is a strong as any ones. I remember talking to him a few years back, just after he retired and all he could talk about is spending all his free time playing pool.

Great Job Kenny!!! The entire event I watched was awesome. This is a great, win for Kenny after the 3-man win in Vegas this year. I hope to see him in Grand Rapids in December if he makes it there.
 
Both the guys in the finals played super all weekend. I didn't manage to catch the finals but I heard it was a great match. Im looking forward to watching it when the video gets posted. Disappointed now though that I already know the ending to this nailbiter!
 
I think that is just listed as a match from: "2014 US Amateur Championship"

But I could see how one would read it differently. :)

Scroll down the page, you will see the listings. One says Brisbon vs
Abernathy Finals. It's not the finals, because in that episode, Abernathy wins 7-5. I suspect someone saw Abernathy vs. Brisbon, and thought it was the final match and labeled it that way. In any case, the actual final match is not on their list at all.

Ah, I see. Apparently, that was their winners side match up. My apologies, sir.
