Congrats to Dennis Haar....no matter what happens today

Dennis won a couple of South Dakota State Championships before he moved in his early 20's.I remember him as having a strong mind and very solid technique.Methodical pace around the table with a strong will to win.

His first SD state masters title was when he was 14. He also won the VNEA Masters 8-ball in 1991 at age 18.

I was amazed at some of the things he would do to win.

He played pretty near flawless against me. I was playing just fine and making anything I shot at - just did not get to shoot at anything until I was down 6 or 7 to 0.

Was at team member with Dennis back in 1991, won the South Dakota State championships, and Dennis went on to win the Masters VNEA. He was only 18, and only 14 when he won the SD singles. Great player and good guy. Fran Archambeau

i havent talked to dennis since the 08 us open 9 ball

Dennis is friends with a guy from my home town and i have heard some funny stories about him for years. This guy can play. He works full time last i heard. A 40 or 50 hour a week job has been the death of many a good pool game. Congrads to Dennis !
