Congrats to my good friend and student Gilbert Najm for making the semi-finals in the Hard Times Open Tour tournament in Bellflower, CA.
His only losses were to Luis Avilla, Mexico Champion, (25-24) and Hugo Patino, 2 x US National Champion, (25-23). with a record of 3W 2L, He finished second to Hugo in his flight, knocking Avilla out of the semi's, but, someone was the highest bidder in the auction and reentered Avilla into the tournament.
