I only saw Bryant play 2 matches at DCC. On multiple occasions during both matches he was loud, vulgar, inappropriate; often while the opponent was getting ready to shoot. Is this his usual pattern??

I have seen him play too many times to count, and usually he is relaxed and smoking a cigarette. Maybe he was having a bad day? Everyone does.

Actually there were a fair number of empty beer bottles on the table next to his chair, maybe he changes a little under the influence (though he still won both matches I saw, and he played great).

Did you see him play Jeanette Lee?

He was joking around a bit but nothing too bad. Actually I thought he was funny. But when he was down to his last 9-ball he laid his stick down and took a 5-min. break. Jeanette groaned and said "Aw come on and get it over with"

I thought that was rude but then I found out later JL had been playing so slow in some of her matches that some of her opponents were pretty upset.

So maybe it was just payback what he did.

Hey now, I am not a big fan of Hillbilly / Charlie / Shannon as a pool player, but the man is a recovered (ing) alcoholic, and he should be praised for that. I believe the empties belonged to others.

Well, actually I saw him emptying them into his mouth (at least that's how I remember it), maybe Wally can recall if he was there also. I guess I remember things a little different from Wally - I heard Hillbilly cursing loudly to some bystanders/friends at least 3 times where Jeanette had to stop her pre-shot routine (same thing several times in his previous match with a different opponent). I also didn't think Jeanette was playing that slow (certainly she was faster than Mika in her match with him) - either way, I don't think sharking is acceptable behavior even if your opponent is a little slow. JMO

I really don't recall as I had emptied a few at that point myself

I did not see the first half of the match so maybe I missed that part.

I also didn't think Jeanette was playing that slow (certainly she was faster than Mika in her match with him) - either way, I don't think sharking is acceptable behavior even if your opponent is a little slow. JMO

You're right. She was not playing slow in that match. She had been playing slow in the banks division. Some of her opponents interpreted it as sharking but I think she just took a lot of time because of her unfamiliarity with that game.
