Way to go Keith,
Congratulations. Did you have any particularly tough matches, or any unbelieveable shots?
Thanks for your kind words. As usual, Mike Zuglan's Joss Tour stop at Golden Cue in Albany, New York, was a first-class tournament, and I want to express my sincere appreciation to him as well as the owners of the Golden Cue Billiards.
Karen Corr, Julie Kelly, Santos, Joe Tucker, Danny Hewitt, Frankie Hernandez, Kid Delicious, Mike Davis, Jerry Slivka, Ryan McCreesh, Pookie, and Ed Vasquez were some of the players who showed up, and everybody had a good time.
I recently purchased a McWorter shaft at Valley Forge for my Bobby Hunter cue stick, but I hadn't had a chance to use it until this tournament. Michael Webb of Webb Custom Cues was on hand for cue repair. I've always trusted Mike's expertise, and when he started to work on my new shaft, he noticed a couple of characteristics and immediately brought them to my attention. He knew exactly what I wanted and transformed this new shaft to my liking, and because of that, I was able to shine brightly and win the tournament. I would recommend him highly to anybody who is in need of cue maintenance and/or repair.
Every match is tough in a competition with players of this caliber, and I had to play my best to win. Sometimes it just comes down to the lucky rolls, and this weekend, the pool gods smiled on me.
