He is such a cutie. I'll never buy another dog...adoption is the only way to go.

Adoption is the best way to go... About 3 years ago I adopted a German Shepherd from a very bad breader. He was born with a couple birth defects and she knew that she couldn't sale him. So she put him in a box and waited for him to die. When my Wife and I rescued him, he had been in the box for so long his front legs were curved.

However he's 3 now and my handsome baby boy.

That has got to be the most adorable picture I've ever seen, Coop.

Jenn,
I agree with you on the issue of adoption. Tucker is so beautiful!

Congratulations on your new addition! What type of dog is he? He sort of reminds me of the dog featured in Lil' Rascals.

Thank you Marissa,.. I love my doggies. Jake is a 110 pound lap dog.

And Congrats on the new family addition Jenn, he looks like quite the character.

We think he's a pitbull/border collie mix...and he is one happy dog.

Coop, your German is a real beauty! Give him a little scratch behind the ears for me!

Jenn

I seen a pic of Tucker on your WPBA blog, and thought he is a cutie!

I am such a sap for dogs :)

I got my two dogs from the pound, and they are just adorable :)

He certainly seems like he is very happy. :)

My family has always been partial to collies and they're fun to have as companions. They haven't adopted another one after their last one passed away because the vet bills were getting too expensive for them but I know my father in particular does miss having a dog.

Here are my other 2 that came from the pound...

Obi is the beagle under the Christmas tree.

Quinn is our Shepherd/huskie mix, and basic, kind of nuts puppy. One Blue eye, one Brown eye. :)

I love animals myself, but have allergies (more so to cats than dogs), but the Coton de Tulear is ideal for me as they are hypo-allergenic! I'm hoping to have myself a Coton pup one day... even have a name ready: Sarang, which means "love" in Korean. ::sigh:: One day...

Hey..I have some sarangs...they go around the bathing suits (: Haha.. *silence*... SO anyway... hmm.

I have a cat, Pancake ( why bother to ask right?). He's a Seal-Point Simase...so in other words..a long haired siamese. He's beautiful! He even sits in a chair like a human...creepy.

Coop, you've got a couple of cute babies there!

Marissa, I've never heard of a Coton, so I looked them up. Sorta like a Bichon, fluffy and cute and a very interesting history, too. Dog royalty.

Deanna, that is one gorgeous cat...I love his black mask and legs!

Okay ...

I can't stay out of this, because I love dogs a lot.

This is a picture of our family dogs when they were RV'g down
at Branson, Mo..

Buddy, which I kind of share with my Mom, is the Angel Yorkie.
Reggie & Sampson, the 2 Shelties, are my brothers. Reggie,
on the left is 15 lbs and fox-like. Sampson, is 40 lbs, was
the runt of the litter originally, is 4 years old, and acts like
an ole man, but sweet.

Thanks ya (: He's a punk, but a beautiful one! He is a pool fan too, he sits with me and watches the wpba tournaments when I tape them... (he could probably beat me at a game..sad)...

Speaking of dogs with interesting history and royalty....I had a Welsch Corgi for many years, until he passed away. They are such loyal dogs(not to mention royally bred!

See ya in Peoria!
