Sounds like to me ...

that Django is back on top of his game,
considering the wins he has had the last
few months, and he is a force to be reackoned
with.

I was pleased to see Francisco Bustamante win the tournament. His game is on, and he NEVER fires the trigger until he's ready.

We had dinner with Bustie the night before his finals match, while he was waiting for the Dennis Hatch versus Efren Reyes match to conclude, and I got to see a side of him that I hadn't before on the tournament trail. He's 41 years of age, and I think he believes he is on top of his game. Some players of his caliber have an ego and handle it well, and others don't. Francisco is very amiable and has a great sense of humor. He's a top player in the Philippines and enjoys a celebrity status, but believe it or not, he struggles with expenses related to traveling to events all over the world like the majority, even though he is considered one of the best players in these times.

He's actually quite a charmer, but in a quiet sort of way. He's staying here on the East Coast for the next 2 months, and I think we'll be seeing him play at many events in my neck of the woods! ;)
