You know, they have numbers on those things...

Luckily we weren't playing for anything worthwhile. Didn't cost me the set either... just my sanityHaving said that, I feel your pain!

In the wise words of Yosemite Sam....."That'll learn ya"I played with a set of Dynaspheres the other day (palladium or platinum - the one with the blue dot cueball, so the Japanese ones), and it was the first time I have really got pissed off by this. Kept thinking the 6 was the 7 (Light blue and grey). 3 times in the set I hit the wrong ball first. All 3 times in the middle of break and runs, and not once did my opponent tell me I am cueing down on the wrong ball hahaha
Same thing happened to me at the Cue Club in Vegas. Wacky colorsI played with a set of Dynaspheres the other day (palladium or platinum - the one with the blue dot cueball, so the Japanese ones), and it was the first time I have really got pissed off by this. hahahah this is hilarious. I am quite a fan of the sexy Aramith Leopard print 9 ball.
The only thing I disagree with is the green cloth, as much as a traditionalist that I am, The gray cloth really shows the ball colors better.Yes no more pink or brown pool balls please. The seven ball is maroon, the five is orange, the four is purple and the cloth is tournament green!
Really? I played on shark grey once and i didn't notice the balls being any clearer or have better color clarity. I thought it was ok but the only plus i'd give it is it looks better longer. The only thing I disagree with is the green cloth, as much as a traditionalist that I am, The gray cloth really shows the ball colors better.
When they first came out the difference between the 'Turdstons'The only reason I bought the Tungsten set was because of the price, I think I paid about $80 for them, personally I don't care about colors, especially in 8 ball, I understand a little bit more in rotation games but for me in the end I'll call the ball by color if I have to or make sure I'm hitting the lowest number ball on the table, the color of the balls don't make me miss.......well.....maybe.....
Some players miss the old over-size cue ball….

Not sure about playing on it, I was referring to TV colors.Really? I played on shark grey once and i didn't notice the balls being any clearer or have better color clarity. I thought it was ok but the only plus i'd give it is it looks better longer.
Maybe if someone still watches TV on a 1969 Sony Trinitron CRT television set.I can get used to the purple 5 and I do understand that it looks better on TV but the black is too much....
I’m in sympathy for those who bemoan the departure from standard colors…..color coding makes sense.while i kind of scoff at OP and others obsessed with the colors, i realize i'm the same when it comes to this. or under-sized, like in UK, that little ping pong ball. it's the worst.
Streaming quality is not that great and not much better than those CRTsMaybe if someone still watches TV on a 1969 Sony Trinitron CRT television set.
