where can i get some decent action around the east coast??? im from connecticut but the pool halls are dead. im not getting any better. i would to play some other people.
 
I don't know that CT is dead. If you look around at some of the players we have and the amount of tournaments in the North East. Compared to other areas it's not so bad. You should come to one of the ECPT tournys. It's not action but you will have plenty of good players to play. Why don't you give Boradriver a challenge for the king of CT. We just played in your back yard.

id love to play on the ecpt but i work on saturdays till 8pm.. i play at crown billiards down in new london. good idea. i should ask boradriver for a challenge match.. =)

I will see you there some time as well. Have you sucked any money out of Ben or Pat? You should be able to get them to play for something.
 
i got some money from pat. very little though. he doesnt want to play me more than 30 bucks. lolz. i play ben once in a while but he became a good friend of mine so we dont really play for much. just small kind, 20 dollar sets. me and ben plays pretty even.
 
I was born/raised in the area, and learned to shoot there at the Gold Crown and at American Billiards in Groton. If you've been around the area for a while, you probably know all the same people I do that have been there for a little more than a few years. Mike K. , Ed B. , and Ty will all play some. Getting ahold of them might be the challenge. Also Terry K. is around, and he'll play. I don't know what speed you play at, but if you want to get better, these players are a pretty good place to start. Tell'em Josh sent ya...

Edit: If you're still looking for action when I come home next, (not sure when that will be), I'll play you some decent sets...100-200 per.

i think i heard your name from terry. i played ty twice in a tourn. i beat him too. lolz. i played mike keith in a tourn at groton, and he told me that i caught him on a bad time. he was running the balls left and right. couldnt do anything. ive been trying to get hold of ty again for a race to 30 challenge but i couldnt find him.. i played bobby hunt 3 sets, and guess what, he murdered me. lolz. im a decent player i guess.. i play around too much on a game but not on money games..
 
If you can get to Gallery Billiards in Newburgh NY I know there are a few players there who will play. :smile:

im thought about that. but if i go there, id stay in NY for at least 3 days to play pool... prolly by november ill go..

Very cool,the room owner Dave is a great guy and good player,you will find this room to be friendly and player oriented.

yea, i guess so but i like to play people that i dont know much. i play much serious. i want to gain my experience thats why im looking for other people to play with.
