Connelly San Carlos

I'm going to look at a 5 year old 8' Connelly San Carlos in a few days. Seems like a hell of a deal considering the price of a brand new one. Anybody have one of these or know of anything I should look for when I get there?

Nice Table, But

Hi There,

If U have the room and really want to learn the game of pocket billiards
then I believe U should wait for a nice 9' foot table to show up.

If however U have space restraints and could have the kids enjoy the smaller table then go ahead with the Connelly.

Space is the issue, or I'd absolutely wait for a 9'. I've been playing for about 15 years and just bought my first house. So I talked the wife into putting a pool table in. The leagues I shoot in are about 95% 8' bar boxes as well.
