If he ran out an 8-ball rack after his opponent’s dry break, obviously MJ was a pretty sporty pool player for being one of the best basketball players of all time. I don’t recall the story mentioning whether they were playing on a bar box or on a nine footer? If the latter, that would be even more impressive.
Definitely stealing that one.MG: What are we playing for?
MJ: Whatever makes you nervous, man.
I assume you gave up the table once in a while to let others enjoy playing someone more on their own level?20 years ago I played pool all night at the home of then Milwaukee Buc Ray Allen who was living in Hartford, Ct. He was a very nice guy; and it was a party at his home. I beat all comers in his very nice basement man cave. It was a very enjoyable night. He was just a casual pool player, and a very gracious host.
Oh yeah, you just reminded me. Doesn't Jordan grip the cue with his thumb resting on top of the cue?Earl said "Jordan can't play, he's all thumbs" lmao

Maybe so, but does he really have to be playing with a house cue?
