I have no idea Roadie. If a person was a case collector, it seems like a good price as it sits. I have paid more.
CC has a bad habit of posting external links to EBay, something in the TOS that is not allowed. By doing this he screws bidders up that are potential winners. Of course, people that keep tabs on EBay for good deals on cues and cases are already aware of this case. CC just lets more people know about the auction. The end result many times is people paying more than they hoped to.
CC just likes to up his post count for no other reason than having a huge post count and he generally sticks his nose where it doesn't belong re EBay auctions. Its just a little childish game he plays to cost people money.
I used to follow auto auctions in my city. Every Saturday without fail, the same bidders will show up to get their jollies. They don't have 2 nickels to rub together but they get off on going in on initial bids to make the sale higher when they have no intention of following thru till the end.
CC is kind of like that annoying bidder. He is a cheap skate chalk thief that won't spend a penny on anything, yet it seems he hates to see others get a great deal on something.

I see. I guess that I sit on the fence here because I am not the kind of person who browses Ebay and so I appreciate the links I see from here to interesting auctions. I don't really see the problem with it. I can certainly understand the position of the person bidding who would prefer that there is fewer competitors trying to acquire the item.
In today's world I certainly believe that whatever is out on the net to be linked to is fair game. If not Cocobolo Cowboy then someone else could have linked the auction on Facebook or some other social media just as easily. In fact were I an ebay seller then I would maintain several social accounts just for the express purpose of linking to auctions. Mine and others just to not be obvious. This seems like the perfect guerrilla marketing and much more dependable than hoping some random person takes it upon themselves to promote my items.
Also I wouldn't be too hard about the links to Ebay. Many other posters here blatantly use the main forum to advertise their for sale items instead of using the designated place for that. They deserve a bit more chastisement for the blatant rule violations but apparently the tolerance level is relaxed at the moment.
