copper wire wrap

i just received another 100 plus old one piece cues that i recycle and as i was sorting them, i found an old brunswick that had a wire copper wrap. looks like about the thread size as a normal linen, but is copper wire. maybe jusr a different way to add weight?

That's pretty cool. I use varying thickness of copper wire "thread" for fly tying, so I could definitely see that being used. What a thought. :thumbup:
