Any opinions on how these ferrules play? Do they machine easy?

How do they compair to the new micarta material being sold on here by masonh?

I've never installed them but there have been a number of cue makers say that they crack.

i havent tried a corian ferrule, but i did use it as a joint on my own personal jump cue. it broke, shattered would be a more appropriate term

I tried it once for points but it cracked a few days after it was inlayed. Never again. It would probably be OK for small inlays if they were not installed too tightly.

I can't imagine anyone using it for a ferrule.
