I waited a while for it to calm down before uploading this. As it turns out, there is no audio which is a shame, because it was a nice little match between Corey and Alex and it was sort of casual and they were both joking with each other. This was done on the table in the Straight Pool room.

The next Alex match was even better and we will be able to see it on the Accu-stats table once Pat gets the dvds done. There was a huge crowd, a bit of light banter, people standing and clapping, multiple backscratches and intentional 3 fouls. That match had everything and Ken Schuman said it was the best match he had seen in 25 years.
It is a pity the final ended the way it did, but Alex did help to move straight pool in a good direction before that. Next year, with the proper safeguards in place and better scheduling let's hope all the matches and runs help move 14.1 forward.
