the corian wont work
as i thought, the veneers show thru at tips of points
i wanted to try it, so i used black veneer under it, just to see the worst case scenario

clear
you think it would make a difference??????
wouldn't that bleed into the black?????

You're right, it's pretty thin at the tips, but personally... I think it's a nice look with the black behind it.

maybe i'm being too critical ??????
i'll probably just make a jump cue out of this experiment

Corian

I have been using it for about 10 years with no cracking or finish peeling .
it is vary apt to bleed when put in dark wood .[ the white]

Jerry, what exactly do you mean by "bleed" when used on dark woods? Does the Corians color leach out or does the dark woods color affect the Corian? I'm thinking about using some of this stuff but don't want any large surprises down the road.
