Dave
I appreciate the apology. I understand where you are coming from, after all I do this for a living. Designing and fully validating any product we sell. Unfortunately it's not possible to do full validation on a cue lathe, if I do then the price would be $7500
I do as much testing as possible and I design my lathes to withstand a much heavier load (H-channel, Wider Carriage etc.)
Every company makes prototypes to test the market prior to investing lot of money in fully developing the product. First one has to establish a business case before producing and validating the product. This particular lathe was built as a market test product. Later I realized I just don't have the time to add another lathe to my product line. I also did not think there was any interest in it either. So like I stated earlier, I put this project on the back burner. The only problem I have with you Dave, is when you compare me to Dave from Dave's cue repair. I am nothing like Dave, nor would I ever be. I do my best to be fair and just with every customer I sell to. But in the end there is always that someone that is never happy no mater what you do. Thanks again for the reply and I am sorry to for my earlier post. I will edit my reply, but please don't compare me to Dave any more.
Thanks
Bassel
