Does Anyone Know Exactly How Many Feet Of Linen It Takes To Do A Single Wrap?
I Have An Opportunity To Buy Cortland From A Man Who Has A Huge Spool Of It. I Just Want Enough For Two Wraps But Unsure How Much To Roll Off.
What Would Be A Reasonable Price?
YOU CAN CONTACT ME AT STIX4SALE@AOL.COM
THANKS, BRENT

ibout a 1/2 ounce will do one cue

> To be safe, use a dial caliper or micrometer and measure the thickness of the strand. At the front end of the wrap on most cues,it takes about 3.25 inches of string to make one complete turn, tapering to 4.25 at the back end,so divide the diameter of the linen into the overall length of the wrap, then multiply that number by the middle point of your 2 dimensions,or 3.75,plus 5 feet. Or,figure 125-130 feet. If you can, just take the whole roll while he's not looking. Tommy D.
