Maybe I'm not looking in the right place on their website. But I might be buying a house and finally have enough space for a 7 foot pool table. I looked on their website, but I can't figure out how much a 7 foot Diamond would cost. Does anybody know?

Thanks. I will follow up

I've also been looking for a 7' Diamond. Here's the prices they used to publish for the ProAm which I believe are still accurate.

New Package: $4400
New Table Only: $4000
Tournament used package: $4200
Tournament used table only: $3800

The package includes the table, matching Diamond light, Simonis 860 cloth, Super Aramith Pro balls, Diamond ball rack.

yes those are the prices they used to post. You are absolutely correct. Not sure why they stopped posting the prices.

Smart sales really. It's a fact that for big ticket items you will sell more if you can get your customer talking with a sales guy before the price scares them off. Most of the people turned off by that sort of tactic can't afford it in the first place, so you end up weeding out the tire kickers at the same time.

Well I think posting the prices is a good idea. A lot of people think if someone wont post the prices they think the company has something to hide and are probably too expensive.

Or they have dealers that set the prices. Most places list the MSRP price which almost never is the price you actually pay, or they have a greatly inflated price then offer you %50 off. I've seem some of those cheap stereo systems with a $1,000 price printed on the box so they can be sold at 80% off which is still double what it's worth.

It had a lot to do with people wanting to buy just 1 table, but looking to buy it at the 10+ table price...thinking that was what the price of the table really was...wrong;) and you're 100% right about getting that phone call from a interested customer window shopping instead of just looking at the price on a website and saying..."naaa, that's just to much money...more than I'm willing to spend...I was only looking to spend $500 anyway"

thanks

I live in Los Angeles

Not sure if the house will go through. If so, I'm definitely interested. Otherwise I don't have enough space in a 2 bedroom apt

I'm located in Fullerton CA. I rather not publish pricing so I will send you a private message.

Are the new 7 footers built geometrically correct or are they still like the ones in the bars everywhere that bank a full pocket short?

Any word on if they fixed that problem?

The only Diamond I've ever played on is a 7 footer at the "90 West" bar near Playa Vista. Seems to bank fine.

The rails were changed about 3 years ago, thus the new Blue Label rails:D

Good

Looks like I may finally have enough room for a 7 footer in my garage. I want a high quality table and it seems Diamond is the way to go if they have fixed that rail problem. I'll be looking into purchasing one in a few months once I've recovered from all the expenses of a down payment and moving.

does diamond sell 8' pro ams anymore? it does say so on their website

Just as an aside, Beezer's Fine Billiards in Russellville, Arkansas has twelve Diamond Pro Am 8-footers in their front, non-smoking room.

Nice tables for those that can't quite fit a 9-footer in their place. They've had these for a handful of years and it's the only place I've ever seen any at, so not sure if they're still made. I would think they do.
