It's not that tough of a job. We would do it for you. Call us if you need a quote, 877-399-9901.
Now, I need to tell you a little about what to expect.
First, your shaft currently has a brass insert in it. We will have to remove that which will leave a larger hole than can be tapped for the 3/8-10 joint threads. So, we would bore out the hole larger, thread it and plug it with maple. Then, we would machine for the new joint connection. The reason I mention this is that it will be visible that the joint of the cue shaft has been plugged.
Second, you need to look at the joint diameters of the cues you're going from and to. The current shaft, a P18, has a joint diameter of about .830" in diameter. The typical 3/8-10 shaft uses a joint diameter of about .850", so it's quite a bit larger. If the cue your going to is also .850" in diameter, which is likely, then your newly fitted cue shaft will screw on, and play, but it will be smaller at the joint, than the cue itself.
Just some things to think about.
If you would like us to do it for you, just print out our Product Return Form found
here, and send it in with the cue shaft. We will contact you as soon as we receive it with the totals including shipping, and the ETA on when it'll be done.
Thanks
