I first played with a Cousins around 30 years ago at Buffalo Billiards in Cotati, CA. I got a Viking Merry Widow, which was around $120 give or take. I wanted a Cousins, but it was closer to $300. They played great, but never became popular nor valuable. My stepdad picked up #36 when the owners son traded it in on another cue.

I have a plain birdseye Cousins and it plays great! Top cue in the photos.

I have had several Cousins cue. They are very well made and play great but on the stiffer side. I had 1 of 2 twelve point cousins cue ever made and sold it to a friend. These two cues were made on a bet that he couldn't make a 12 point cue.

They're nice cues. Used to see quite a few of them in the Bay Area north of San Francisco since most of them were sold from there.
