Cover for Gold Crown III

First post :)

I just purchased a Gold Crown II for $500, delivery for $300, and Simonis 860 for $190. Total $990. I'm super stoked, as it seems like a steal of a deal!

In any case, I have her set up in the garage with a window AC unit battling the South Louisiana heat, and I'm anxious to get a cover on it. It seems like finding a cover to fit a GC it a bit hard to do. Any specific recommendations that for sure 100% fit a GC? I'm looking for a "nagahyde" type cover, not a super thin vinyl one.

Thanks!

Contact this link: Hood leather goods, they make the covers for the gold crown for brunswick only they put the logo on it. You could get the exact same thing with no logo for less. You may have to call to see if they sell direct or a dealer in your area.

Hi again, thanks for your response in the snooker forum too :)

The only GC-specific comment I found for the brunswick cover was : "Doesn't fit my Brunswick Crown Gold all that well. It may stretch over time, but very, very tight out of the box." I guess I could order it and send it back if it doesn't fit. Also, I was hoping spend about $100 less.

I already purchased the one on the amazon link. it was too small, and I am sending it back today.

Most standard universal 9-foot covers don't fit the Gold Crown. You need a cover that is 64" x 114". I have them for $150 in black if your interested. Donny 714-943-7137

OK great, it looks like Classic Billiards sells them. Thanks!!

I have yet to find a commercially made table cover that fits...
...we have Gold Crowns and Diamonds at our room.
...they're all too tight and the four corners wear out with use.
We have ten covers at our room and the most used ones look disgusting...
...( we cover tables for pool and dart leagues )

For a private table, in your climate, I would suggest getting a 6.5 by 12 piece of REAL
CANVAS....canvas breathes a little whereas vinyl products hold the moisture.

I think the commercial covers were made to fit tables with wooden rails, which are not
as wide at the rails.

I have one 4x8 cover which suits a 7-foot bar table efficiently....
...all the ones that fit become torn.

In Europe a regular/normal table cover does not have these sides/drapes on them.
So they will fit most anything. We do have those with drapes for carom tables.

A match table is 10 foot so it will fit a GC3 easily. Retail price for those is $100 but shipping will be around $50.
So for that kind of money, I would definitely get the one with the logo.

Got this one from either Seyberts or Meullers, fits like a glove, comes in brown, blaCK or blue.

Was about $125.

My wife bought me the Brunswick cover for Xmas 2 years ago for my GCII, it is a very nice cover and fits very good. In fact the cover is so nice that i keep the old clear vinyl cover over my Brunswick cover to protect it. I would buy another one in a heart beat.

Congratulations on your first post. Where did you get Simonis for $190? Is that for 7 footer, not 9 footer quote?
