Does anyone know where I can find casino game inserts for my pool table? 9' would be awesome if they make such a thing. I like to use the hell out of my pool table as it's the center piece in my game room and sometimes I like to (gasp) play something other than billiards. I know I know, why would you want to do such a thing? Anyway I remember seeing a something like these on a site once but can't remember.

I like to play the Don't Pass. Just outrun the come out roll and the odds are always in your favor, sometimes just OK odds and sometimes better. :)

I also like to put max odds on any 4 or 10 point that gets established when playing the Don't Pass wager. I've found success this way. The odds betting is different at different places, but it can help payback some or any come out roll losses. Using a Martingale style of play can reap serious money. It can also end your night very abruptly. I attest to both. The most important thing is to set a limit before you go in any casino.

It's not foolproof, but the odds usually play out in the long run and being a Don't Pass player always give you the edge after any point is established.

@ TX poolnut - Cheers to that! I like billiards but I didn't start building up a game room to only play pool! :D man I'll have to save up for one of those nice roulette wheels on there. They do have nice folding craps/roulette mats on there that could work well on a pool table

The Don'ts are a great play for the GRINDER (like myself)... To get on the Board with no risk of the 7 ... hedge (for one roll only) using the 4 and/or 10 with a simple lay bet against either and/or both... Also to cut the risk of getting 'door popped' (ie come out roll is 4 or 10) , you can also AT THE SAME TIME Place a 4 and /or 10 on the HARD WAYS (again for one roll only) for an off setting bet against your 4/10 lay.... You then can only "GET BEAT" with an easy 4 or easy 10.

2 and 3 pays you and you get beat with the 11 (Yo) only... that a 3/2 proposition for the Don't Player btw.... you can also Yo bet on the same Come Out Roll as well covering only 66% of your DC (or don't pass bet...) Yo bet will be on a simple hedge bet as well for the DC bet amount.

Once on a point... Take down your Lay and the Hard way Bet immediately...

As for as the odds on the DON'Ts.... This is where you GIVE BACK ALL of the EDGE you've gained so far as a DON'T Player... This is opposite for the COME betters... You will loose you Bank if you bet more than 1X odds.... (actually 1/2 times odded are even better for staying power)...
This is why its important to get on a point with a Limited risk Larger Flat bet then take lower odds... You'll get paid MORE and BETTER over time.

Once you have a number (and want 2 numbers) try this. For 1 roll only LAY 1X's ODDS on the 1st number and at the same time Place a new DC bet for the amount you can WIN from the 1st number with odds... ie Say the 1st roll is say 9... and you got on the 9 with a $50 DC (or DPass bet). Then the $50 no 9 would then immediately get a 1X odds Lay bet of $75 making the total net win (if the 7 came next) of $100... Thats $50 for the Front no-9 Flat bet and $50 for the $75 Lay bet against the no-9.

At the same time as above no-9 lay bet gets placed also place in the DC box a $100 DC bet for the next roll... (remember 2 and 3 pays you the new DC better $100 and the Yo beat you but it 3/2 odds your way for this 1 roll... yes you can Yo hedge the $100 DC as well for about 66% or $4/5 yo bet... I do every other time). If the 7 rolls right now you only loose your $4/5 yo. Everything else working pushes because its hedged. VERY LITTLE has actually been risked so far.

When You get on the 2 number (say its the 10) you pull down the Lay'd ODDS on the no-9 to 1/2X's odds (75 goes to 45-30 to win 30-20) and also no more then 1/2X odds on the no-10... and if you want to cover the no-10 then use a hard 10 for the full amount of exposure... In this case the hard ways bet needs to pay close to $200... that's $100 for the (free) no-10 front bet and $100 for the 1/2 X's lay'd odds. AT 7:1 you would need a $20 Hard 10 "always working".

Being conservative will win in Back line Craps if you know how to out run the 7 and are lucky to have a Choppy table...

RULES:
Personally I never bet on the Come out roll for a new shooter (no negative Karma BS from the other players). I always wait for a point to be made and use the above system for a DC bet (and maybe 1 more number... this will average about 1.5 points/ shooter)

If the shooter beats you... ie hits your number, STOP Betting against that Shooter. DO NOT EVER CHASE YOU MONEY WITH THAT SHOOTER. Simply wait until the dice move to the next shooter and start a new game.

I can say about 85% of the time I play Craps I leave the table because my back starts hurting after about 4-6 hours of standing. I stop playing when I win 2-300% of total bank roll (ie total for today's play 1000 I'm looking to win 2-3K) or I'm down by 1/3 (ie say 3-400 time for coffee or entertainment) This usually depends on the opening couple of passes and how choppy the passes come out... Like they say... Its a 'Crap Shoot' but be responsible. Money Management is the key in any business.

Fun on the FELT (all kinds).

A roulette top would be easy enought to assemble. Craps, not so much. You could put down a layout, but a good craps setup would need a deep table; pool tables aren't deep enough.

I was at Pool City recently, and they had a mini craps table for sale, for not a bad price.
